Welcome to Remote Feeds!
Now that you're here, let's find you a new favorite TV show.

Every streaming service you have is a treasure map that’s 95% covered up.
The parts you can see are home menus, designed to offer what other people assume are proven hits. The suggestions that pop up when you sign in or when the end credits roll keep you in a tiny corner where the titles are familiar and the risk is low.
The rest that’s hidden? It’s a magical place.
That’s why I’m starting Remote Feeds, a regular newsletter that takes that deeper look at TV from around the world and highlights the shows worth your time.
Some weeks, we’ll look at shows that pair nicely with some of the buzzier shows you may already be watching. Other times, we’ll take a peek at some underseen gems of the past. We’ll also toss in the occasional roundup of what’s on the horizon, just so you have the best chance at finding your new favorites. Whether you’re looking to TV to escape or to inspire, we’re here to help point you in a satisfying direction.
Discovering a show feels like a tiny miracle. With the way the TV world is set up today, sometimes those little miracles need a little nudge, especially for non-English-language shows. As recommendations continue to become less human, there’s never been a better time to dig deeper. To quote a character from the great Netflix sci-fi series “Dark” (possibly by way of Isaac Newton): “What we know is a drop. What we don’t know is an ocean.”
So even though Remote Feeds is launching with the specific focus on international TV, let’s make this something that really gives anyone who reads it the best chance at finding something they’ll love.
Happy exploring!
